From the Back Cover

For some people, loss comes early and often. For others, it comes late but all at once. Eventually, however, we all suffer losses of some kind&;youth, possessions, love, loved ones, health, and even life itself.

&;The Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away. Blessed be the name of the Lord,&; said Job after losing all he had. Most of us are quick to bless the Lord when He gives, when life seems good; but when bad things begin to happen, we stop praising Him.

When Life Takes What Matters is all about learning to bless God no matter what your circumstances, and in this collection of devotionals Susan Lenzkes helps you see loss from God&;s perspective. Her personal and poignant insights gently soothe the pain of loss without making you feel guilt for feeling hurt.
