"This book is strictly 'Utility', that is why most of the romantic falconry terms have been left out and falcons have been called hawks. Opinions have been stripped of the customery verbal wrappings that modesty demands, but for that perhaps I may be forgiven under the plea thatI have tried to keep strictly to business." A wide-ranging book covering all the practical neccessities as well as that invaluable teaching which comes only from experience. Of this third edition "Five hundred copies were printed, of these 126 were presold, numbered, and bound in green leather with gold lettering.
