The Line had its beginnings in 1902, when construction began. It had been realized by the government that a railway was needed to exploit the timber and mineral wealth of Northern Ontario. In 1946, the T&NO was renamed Ontario Northland Railway. 203 pages : illustrations ; 21 x 23 cm. An attractive Fine copy - bright, clean and unmarked in a similar, unclipped dustjacket.
