Synopsis
In 1965 a crew of eleven volunteers flew a wornout war-time Lancaster bomber from Sydney to Biggin Hill, England a distance of 12,000 miles, in order that the aircraft could take its place with other vintage aircraft in a British museum. It was, at that time, the last Lancaster remaining in flying condition. It was a flight fraught with both danger an near unsurmountable difficulties - capturing the imagination of the world in its amazing 21 day journey.
