Transcribed and published by Derry Argue who has been a keen falconer for many years. Hints from both books were applied to the training of his current tiercel goshawk, "KK", who is depicted on the cover of the book.
Derry Argue is better known as a dog breeder and trainer of his famous Advie pointers. What is less well known is that it was a realization that good falconry is only possible with good dogs that prompted his interest in dogs many years ago.
