About the Author

John Caig became a Topper addict after an impressive list of successes in other classes – he was twice winner of the Fireball World Championship and a member of the British Olympic Yachting Team in 1972.  Winner of the Topper European Championship in 1979 and the National Championship in 1980, John Caig also enjoys the lighter side of Topper sailing with his two young daughters.
