About the Author

Thomas F. Babor is a professor and chair of the department of community medicine and health care at the University of Connecticut’s School of Medicine and the associate editor-in-chief of the journal Addiction. He lives in Farmington, Connecticut. Kerstin Stenius is a senior lecturer in social work at the University of Helsinki, a guest professor at the Centre for Social Research on Alcohol and Drugs at Stockholm University, the editor-in-chief of the journal Nordic Studies on Alcohol and Drugs. Susan Savva is a former managing editor of the journal Addiction and a founder and former executive officer of the International Society of Addiction Journal Editors. Jean O’Reilly is a former lecturer in English at the University of Connecticut and a consulting book editor for the department of community medicine and health care at the University of Connecticut’s School of Medicine. She lives in Hartford, Connecticut.
