John Twidell is a former professor of renewable energy at de Montfort University and a former board member of both the British Wind Energy Association and the UK Solar Energy Society. He is the author of more than 100 papers on renewable and sustainable energy and the former editor of the journal Wind Engineering. Gaetano Gaudiosi is a European Commission expert for the evaluation of wind-power proposals and a chairman for the triennial European seminar Offshore Wind Energy in the Mediterranean and European Seas.
