The text is constructed around the facts of a fictitious, but not unrealistic case and the issues which it raises. This fourth edition deals with the many important changes in the Law of Evidence since the publication of the third edition in 1988 and includes the radical new provisions of the Criminal Justice Act 1991. The author also wrote "Evidence: Materials for Discussion and Evidence and Advocacy".
