A selection of Notts Archives material - over 80 illustrations of Raleigh products, workers, dealerships from the 1880s to the early 2000s when Nottingham manufacturing ceased. The Raleighette forecar, Safety Seven three-wheeler, Chopper & Burner cycles, and the Roma Scooter are all pictured - plus classic posters like 'Reg Harris, World Sprint Champion 1949'. There are scenes of munitions production for both World Wars; and works outings of the '50s when some of the 10,000 employees would have a special train to the seaside each year.
