Synopsis

This document is aimed at early years practitioners working in group settings in the Foundation Stage of education. A Place to Learn: Developing a Stimulating Learning Environment is a highly practical document. It is designed to be used flexibly and gives practitioners a wealth of ideas about developing specific areas of provision, or an area of learning throughout the provision. A Place to Learn clearly identifies the differences between a learning environment that meets the basic needs of the children and is 'satisfactory' and a stimulating learning environment.
