A Place to Learn: Developing a Stimulating Learning Environment was published in July 2002 and is also aimed at all practitioners who work with young children throughout the foundation stage. Judith Stevens, Kym Scott, Chris Dillon and Penny Cartwright are early years advisers working in the LEARN (Lewisham Early Years Advice and Resource Network). All are qualified teachers with sound and substantial experience working in the foundation stage. The team provide training and support for all early years practitioners working in Lewisham and elsewhere.
