About the Author

Professor Richard Wiseman is the bestselling author of The Luck Factor and heads a psychology research unit at the University of Hertfordshire. He too is a former professional magician and member of the Magic Circle.

Robert L Morris was an American psychologist, parapsychologist and professor at the University of Edinburgh, where he was the first holder of the Koestler Chair of Parapsychology at the Koestler Parapsychology Unit. He received his doctorate from Duke University. Morris was Koestler Professor of Parapsychology from December 1985 until his death in August 2004.
