Synopsis
The aim of this reference is to bridge the gap between complicated technical theory, which sometimes seems to have little relevance to practical work and "cat and dry" method which may bring success in design but have the experimenter unfulfilled. There is therefore, a strong practical bias, tedious and higher mathematics have avoided where possible and many tables have been included, partly to sever calculation and partly because actual figures bring a greater intimacy with the design process. The book is divided into six basic sections: units and constants, direct current circuits, passive components, alternation current circuits, networks and theorems, measurements.
