'The Comprehensive Guitar Method' was the first classroom oriented text designed to teach teachers how to teach guitar. Student book is an effective tool by itself. Teacher's Manual provides daily lesson plans and a record. Was international top seller when first published. Co-authors Jerry Snyder and Ralph Higgins were both high school music teachers and professional musicians at that time. This book was followed by four titles dealing with introductions to Classical Guitar, Notation, Chord Solos, Finger Picking also by Ralph Higgins with the same publisher. '5002 Guitar Chords' published by Hansen Publications is another of roughly 70 music books by Ralph Higgins.
