Synopsis
The US Office of Technology Assessment has reported that by the year 2000, 200 million pounds of advanced composite materials will be produced. Some technology definitions included are for general composite-related words and terms; composite acronyms; composite mould and tool design words and terms; and composite military, government and industry materials characterization words and terms. This dictionary should help engineers in all fields to become more familiar with the vocabulary of advanced composites.
