Velvet & Steel was written to record 20 years of personal experience and lessons learned from hosting seminars for fathers throughout the U.S. It is filled with stories of how I, as a stressed business executive, often struggled to be the father my wife and children desparately needed me to be. Velvet & Steel, a practical guide, is often used for men's discussion groups. This book is also the basis for the weekend experience called the Effective Father Seminar held predominately for Christian church communities.
