About the Author
A world-renowned exemplar of the tradition of "concerned photography," Sebastião Salgado has been awarded virtually every major photographic prize in France, Germany, Holland, Spain, Sweden, and the United States. A recipient of the W. Eugene Smith Grant in Humanistic Photography, he was twice named Photographer of the Year by the International Center of Photography.

Comes with beautiful, clean, lovely dust jacket. Looks like the book has hardly been used or read, its in first rate condition. Normal wear and marks apply consistent with use and age. 431 pages, all intact, nice tight binding, all pages, text and stunning illustrations are in excellent, clean, readable order. In addition there is a 31 page index booklet which is nicely positioned on the inside back board, within a plastic covered corner slip.
