About the Author
Freelance writer Victoria Doudera is the author of Moving to Maine: The Essential Guide to Get You There and articles for Yankee, Parenting, Readers Digest, and Maine Boats & Harbors, among other magazines. When they first moved to Camden, Maine, in 1986, she and her husband operated a bed-and-breakfast, and Vicki says that conversing with their guests helped give her a good idea of what attracts people to Maine and what makes them want to stay.
