About the Author

In January 1964, <b>Robin Moore</b> went to Vietnam. He had attended Jump School at Fort Benning–with the special approval of President John F. Kennedy–and was the first and only civilian ever allowed to go through the grueling Special Forces qualification course at Fort Bragg.
