Yu Xin, M.D., is Professor of Psychiatry at the Peking University Institute of Mental Health in Beijing, China. Arthur Kleinman, M.D., is the Victor and William Fung Director of Harvard University Asia Center; the Esther and Sidney Rabb Professor of Anthropology in the Department of Anthropology in the Faculty of Arts and Sciences at Harvard University; and Professor of Medical Anthropology and Professor of Psychiatry in the Department of Global Health and Social Medicine at Harvard Medical School in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
