Synopsis
MAPLE is a software that performs numerical and symbolic analysis to solve complex mathematical problems. The book shows how to tap the full power of MAPLE in solving real-world quantitative problems in circuit theory, control theory, curve-fitting, mechanics and digital signal processing. Accompanying the software includes exercises, a demonstration of MAPLE features, and MAPLE subroutines to use in solving engineering problems.

About the Author
Christopher S. Tocci is currently a principle applications engineer at Allen-Bradley Automation Company, Inc., Chelmsford, MA. He received his Ph.D. in engineering science from Clarkson University. Dr. Tocci has had several patents in electro-optical device technology and over 35 publications in both trade and professional journals. Steven Adams is technical marketing director for TCI Software Research, Inc., Las Cruces, New Mexico. He earned his Ph.D. in electrical and electronic engineering from King's College, University of London, Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, London, UK.
