About the Author

Alan Rogers is professor of Electronics in the Department of Electronic Engineering at King's College London. He has published well over 180 papers in learned journals and has initiated 11 patents. Professor Rogers holds a double first in the Natural Sciences Tripos from Cambridge University, and a Ph.D. in radio astronomy and space physics from University College London. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Physics, a Fellow of the Institution of Electrical Engineers, and a Senior Member of the Institution of Electronic and Electrical Engineers.
