Synopsis
The third edition of this work has been revised and expanded to reflect advances in our knowledge of the structure and functions of the prefrontal cortex. Highlights of this edition include a new chapter on neuroimaging and information on computer modelling. In the light of evidence examined in this edition - particularly extensive data from imaging studies - Dr Fuster formulates more precisely his theoretical views on prefrontal function, emphasizing the essential role of the prefrontal cortex in the temporal organization of behaviour.
