The structuralist program, formerly called the non-statement view of scientific theories, can be conceived of as a methodology for theoretical psychology that offers a general framework for theoretical investigations. It recommends the use of informal set-theory as the scientific language, and provides a useful tool to handle many problems of interest in the analysis of psychological theories. This volume combines presentations of reconstructions and constructions of psychological theories with articles dealing with fundamental aspects and problems of the structuralist approach and its application.
