Subtitled - A history of the R.M. of Chesterfield (which includes the former R.M. of Royal Canadian and Hamlet of Laporte from 1940 to the present, as well as the former R.M. of Mantario from 1906 to the present), the west side of the R.M. of Newcombe, the Village of Mantario and the Town of Eatonia. viii, 901pp, profusely photo illustrated. A General history of a number of small Saskatchewan locales. However, it is also, predominantly a wonderfull account of the People and Families of Five small town and surrounds in the South West of the Province close to the Alberta boundary. RM of Chesterfield No 261. Book is bright, clean and unmarked with a tight, square binding, no wear to the gold cloth with an illustrated front cover.
