Hardcover. Condition: Near Fine. Dust Jacket Condition: Good. 1st. (CAD) Presumed 1st edition. No markings, except for a handwritten date on the endpaper "1882", and signatures of 10 members of the Gretna History Book Committe, below their photo on page iv, there is also an inscription to the author on page viii, from Francis Gerhard Enns (Gary Enns) who wrote the Introduction. Near Fine in Good dust jacket with some edge tears, one of which has been repaired to the back with tape; DJ is in mylar sleeve. This appears to be a special copy with the subscriber's name in silver to the lower corner of the cover. The name is that of the author. Green leatherette, illus end papers, 343pp, biblio, B&W photos. This is a well-produced local history of the community of Gretna siituated on the 49th parallel in Manitoba.
