Synopsis
A teaching principal and a university professor join forces to provide teachers and parents with a set of introductory activities in mathematics for children 12 years and under, using language instruction as a tool for the development of mathematical concepts. The authors hope that the suggested activities in this unusual and stimulating book will provide a model for the development and implementation of lessons in maths that are consistent with the principles of holistic instruction.
