Contemporary tales for old-fashioned souls.
Most of these stories have their basis in fact, with fiction used only to enhance the tale. Lipstick Like Lindsay's did happen many years ago but I'm sure happens to many parents every year! The spirit of Christmas is not sugary nor material nor superficial. Unfortunately Hollywood of recent vintage has made it all three and colored our view of Christmas literature. My stories may have more than a bit of Frank Capra sprinkled throughout, but that doesn't make them corny, it makes them real. Would that more of today's merchants of Christmas stories, movies, etc. had his sense of both the edge and the heart of the season. I hope I've done my part!
