About the Author
Carl Humphries is a London based pianist. He has studied piano in London, Berlin, and Turin and pursued theoretical studies at the University of Cambridge. Humphries has written extensively on music education, contemporary music, and the philosophy of music. His lectures and workshops are in demand at universities and musicic schools throughout Europe and the United States.
