About the Author

Bill Evans is the editor in chief of Gig magazine. A professional journalist for nearly two decades, his work has appeared in Bass Player, Entertainment Today, Los Angeles Times, and other publications. Evans has been a gigging musician since 1975, and has fronted an R&B dance band called Rev. Bill and the Soul Believers for the past 12 years.
