Synopsis
Major General Maurice Rose (1899-1945), commander of 3rd Armoured First Army's "Spearhead" division, is the highest ranking American Jewish officer ever killed in battle, and the only casualty to spark a War Crimes Investigation. This work is a biography of this World War II figure, telling the story of Rose's life - from his childhood as the son of a rabbi, through his experiences in World War I and in the US cavalry, to his meteoric rise as America's answer to Rommel.

About the Author
Don R. Marsh, a first-time author, is a World War II veteran who served under General Rose in the 2nd Armored Division in 1944. He lives in Tustin, California and writes military short stories for the 2nd and 3rd Armored Division Association quarterly publications. Ossad is working on a bio of Omar Bradley
