Championship Show judge Pat Muggleton has been involved with St Bernards for forty years, and has had great success showing and breeding dogs with her Bernmont prefix. She has exported St Bernards to the USA, Scandinavia, South Africa and Europe on judging appointments.

Michael and Ann Wensley won the top breeder's award for two years running in 1983 and 1984 with their Swindridge St Bernards. They have the leading smooth kennel in the UK and they bred a record of five smooth Champions in five years. Micahel has done a great deal to promote Anglo-continental relations among St Bernard enthusiasts. He is an international Show Championship judge; he judged Crufts in 1990, and in 1991 he judged the St Bernard Club of Southern California's Speciality Show. Ann is in charge of the breeding side of the kennels, and is an expert on rearing St Bernard puppies.
