While the opening chapters focus on the history of the dog, later material covers sled racing, showing the dogs, champions and pedigrees, leading sires and dams, housing, feeding and grooming, plus much more. A must have book for the Malamute fan. First published 1976 with this sixth printing 1983. 288 pages including bibliography, b/w photos throughout, some drawings in early pages.
