GORDON L. LIPPITT Gordon L. Lippitt is professor of behavioral science, School of Government and Business Administration, George Washington University. Lippitt serves as president of Project Associates Inc., and of the International Consultants Foundation. He has published more than three hundred articles, pamphlets, and books in the fields of human behavior, leadership, and organizational effectiveness. Petter Langseth is a management consultant at the World Bank, coming to that position after serving in a similar role at the Norwegian Institute for Personnel Management in Oslo. Jack Mossop is personnel manager, the World Bank. Mossop has consulted in the field of human resource management in Europe and the United States for over twenty years. PETTER LANGSETH Gordon L.
