You are more than the "I" who is sick, troubled, or dying. All the troubles in the world can be traced back to the mistaken acceptance of an "I" identity. This supposed "I" identity thinks that it has its own likes and dislikes, will and willfulness, good and evil. Even the fear of death arises out of this "I" thought. The "I" thought identifies itself with and as the physical body and then fears that it will lose its identity in death. You are more than the selfish and self-centered "I." You are the I AM. You are the I AM of the great I AM THAT I AM. No matter how clouded the understanding of yourself may seem, the truth is that you are the divine Self. You are not becoming the Self; you are the Self. Do not forever endeavor to keep the reality of the Self before your thought. Rather, live the Self.
