Synopsis
This book is a guide to the understanding and management of the gynaecological patient with endocrinology problems. It is divided into two parts. The first part gives a summary of the relevant physiology, especially steroid biochemistry and hormone action. The second part covers the clinical aspects and is arranged in approximate chronological order of presentation. The complaint is taken as the starting point and the causes, relevant points of history and examination, investigations and possible methods of treatment are then covered.
