From the Author

A practical guide to applying your creativity
I wrote this book at my publisher's request to help people apply their natural creativity to their work, whether they work in a traditional business setting or do something more conventionally thought of as creative. My goal was to provide a more realistic and useful view of creativity, one that leads to real progress in personal and professional goals right away. This book also has a second purpose: It is frequently used in corporate training sessions and workshops by creativity consultants and trainers (and it came out of my work as a trainer). It provides a fun activity—the Personal Creativity Assessment—as well as instructions for using a wide variety of novel techniques for both individual and group creativity. If you have access to The Futurist magazine, you can preview one of the chapters, as it appeared in their Oct. 1998 issue under the title "Nine Obstacles to Creativity—and How You Can Remove Them." And feel free to question me if you need more information about this or any of my other titles.

Good reading!
