Synopsis
After an introduction to statistical methods and process models, this book guides you through basic engineering statistics such as probability distribution and numerical test procedures. Control charting is discussed at a beginner's level before more detailed charting is reviewed for the intermediate statistical user. This third edition has more indepth approach to measurement systems analysis describing areas such as calculation of indices, unilateral tolerances, and calculating measures of dispersion. A list of abbreviations is included, as are several tables and charts.
