Inspired by his experiences, Wayne pursued a career studying and educating others about ancient coins. He has a graduate degree in art history, specializing in ancient coins as works of art, and he has conducted hands-on research in several of the best collections in the world, including The British Museum in London and The National Museum in Athens. He is a trequent lecturer at international seminars, symposia and society. Wayne is the founding publisher of The Celator, the respected journal devoted to ancient coins.
