HE ARGUED THAT THE TRADES & LABOUR COUNCIL(TLC) DURING THE 1930s HAD TENUOUSLY ADOPTED A COOPERATIVE STRATEGY EMBRACING BOTH BLACK & WHITE WORKERS THIS WORK REPRESENTS OUTSTANDING WORKS THAT HAVE A HIGH STANDARD IN THE FIELD OF INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS , LABOUR PROCESS & TRADE UNIONISM. THESE SCHOLARLY WORKS HAVE CORRECTLY DEMONSTRATED THE INTELLECTUAL NECESSITY OF PROBING " THE HIDDEN ABODE OF CAPITALISM" - THE LABOUR PROCESS - IN ORDER TO UNDERSTAND HOW THE CHANGING PATTERNS OF PRODUCTION RELATIONS NOT ONLY INFLUENCED TRADE UNION ORGANIZATION , BUT ALSO SHAPED THE SEGMENTED STRUCTURES OF THE LABOUR MARKET.
