About the Authors

Before joining the faculty of Michigan State University as associate professor of English, PATRICIA LAMBERT STOCK taught English literature and composition at the University of Michigan and Syracuse University. In 1993, she was awarded the James N. Britton Award for her article: The Function of Anecdote in Teacher Research. Stock is editor of fforum: Essays on Theory and practice in the Teaching of Writing (Boynton/Cook, 1983).
