Synopsis
Born in the small mining town of Rosita, Colorado, in 1887, Ralph Carr grew up in the Cripple Creek mining camp and earned a scholarship to the University of Colorado. After college, he practiced law in the San Luis Valley town of Antonito. In 1938, Ralph Carr was elected governor of Colorado.
