About the Authors
Alice Van Wart, who holds a PhD in Canadian Literature, was a one-time editorial assistant with Fiddlehead Poetry Books. She as taught at the University of Alberta and the University of Toronto. Positionings was her first book of poetry. She also wrote Stories to Finish and other poems and edited Necessary Secrets, the journals of Elizabeth Smart.
