About the Author

Vincent O'Sullivan is one of New Zealand's leading writers. His novel Let the River Stand won the 1994 Montana New Zealand Book Award, and his Believers to the Bright Coast was shortlisted for the 2001 Tasmania Pacific Region prize. He has also authored numerous plays and collections of short stories and poems, is the joint editor of the five-volume Letters of Katherine Mansfield, and has edited a number of major anthologies. He lives in Wellington, New Zealand.
