Photographer Erica Echenberg and Sniffin' Glue fanzine founder Mark Perry were at the heart of Punk, the original, exciting, innovative youth movement which rocked the foundations of pre-Thatcherite Britain. In this stunning visual documentary, they picture and describe with thrilling accuracy what Punk was really all about. Among the shots of Punks pogoing at the Roxy Club, bands slamming noise against a wall of long-haired students and outlandishly dressed catwomen, are pictures of future stars slouched in doorways, and insolent, bored teenagers yelling Off! If you really want to know what went on in the dark, dank, smoke and sound-filled cellars of London in the summer of '76, read this. Seller Inventory # 002784
