Synopsis
Part of a series which introduces very young children to the five senses, this book looks at smell. Using simple text it decribes all kinds of smells, from fresh bread in the bakery to the scent of flowers. The author is presently the Headteacher of a large primary school at Crickhowell in Powys. She has taught, during her experience, every age group in the primary sector. She has made a speciality of the implementation of the linguistic and literary aspects of the curriculum for Lower Juniors and, as a member of the County Steering Committee, she is responsible for co-ordinating the in-service training of teachers.
