Award-winning broadcaster Weeshie Fogarty recounts the life and times of an extraordinary Kerryman, Dr Eamon O'Sullivan. Trainer of the Kerry football team to momentous victories in 1924-26-37-46 and again in 1953-55-59-62, including the jubilee win in 1953, Dr Eamon was a legend in his own time. For the first ever Dr O'Sullivan's autobiographical account incorparting his innovative training methods, his dealings with the GAA, his time as Resident Medical Superintendent in Killarney and his passionite interest in rehabiliative care that led to his patients building the Fitzgerald Stadium, are all reproduced here. With interviews featuring GAA greats from past and present, including Mick O'Dwyer, Pat O'Shea, Dan Kavanagh, Con Brosnan, Tom Long and Donie Sheehan and with members of Dr Eamon's family Weeshie Fogarty has put together a fitting tribute for the man whose methods changed GAA football forever.
