Review

Everyone, that is except one little angel who, despite the warnings from the other angels, refuses to attend.
Ruth Brown, whose The Tale of the Monstrous Toad was shortlisted for the Kate Greenaway Medal in 1997, has created another delightful picture book which relates the story of the Nativity from a different standpoint. The little angel might not intend to take part in the proceedings, but manages to have an important role in events and brings her own brand of joy to the occasion.
