About the Author
Tony Ross was born in London and trained at the Liverpool School of Art. He has worked as a cartoonist, graphic designer, and art director of an advertising agency. He taught art for many years at Manchester Polytechnic. He now works as a full time author and illustrator and is one of Britain's most prolific and acclaimed children's book illustrators.
Synopsis
An original story about Lucy and Gregory, who both own happy rags. To the adults they are just dirty old bits of cloth, but to Lucy and Gregory they can be anything they want them to be. The author's many children's books include "I Want My Potty", "Lazy Jack" and "The Treasure of Cosy Cove".
