About the Author
His Holiness the Dalai Lama is the spiritual leader of the Tibetan people, a Nobel Peace Prize recipient, and a beacon of inspiration for Buddhists and non-Buddhists alike. He has persistently reached out across religious and political lines and has engaged in dialogue with scientists in his mission to advance peace and understanding in the world. David Patt received his PhD in Buddhist Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and is the author of A Strange Liberation: Tibetan Lives in Chinese Hands. He recently served as executive director of the Dzogchen Foundation.

All five books have a subtle lean to the binding, mild bumps to the spine ends and cover corners, and a touch of smudging to the edges of the text block. Volumes Four and Five have a previous owner's signature penned to the front paste down. Overall, a Very Good+ set in like, unclipped dust jackets, which have slight bumps to the spine ends and cover corners, and light rubbing to the covers. The jackets are wrapped in Mylar.
